This Week in Boston: Pride, Yoga, and a Roast You’ll Remember

Not the busiest week, but Boston still delivers with Pride parties, rooftop yoga, and a tech-savvy comedy roast.

Hey there,

This week in Boston? Not much, to be honest. However, in this edition of the Beantown Beacon, we do have some activities for you. If not, we have a great tip for this week, a history lesson, and some ways to be involved - or, for many, discussions to avoid.

Let’s get to it!

WHAT’S GOING ON THIS WEEK?

Pride Masquerade & Beer Garden Party

Location: Sam Adams Boston Brewery
Date: Friday, June 27, 6 PM

Vino & Vinyasa Networking

Set against a scenic backdrop, this event offers a refreshing way to connect with fellow professionals while unwinding midweek. Open to Chamber members and guests.

Geometría y Cinetismo

Remind Yourself Of Your Humanity!

Location: The Huntington at the Calderwood Pavilion
Date: Wednesday, June 25th - 7:30pm - 9:00pm

This one-of-a-kind comedy show brings together tech professionals and comedians for a hilarious roast of Boston’s startup and innovation scene. Hosted at a local venue, the Tech Roast Show combines stand-up comedy, satire, and industry insights as real tech leaders are playfully skewered on stage. Expect laughs, networking, and a fresh take on Boston’s boldest tech personalities.

YOUR TIP FOR THE WEEK

If you can parallel park on a one-way street in the North End without hitting a cone, a hydrant, or a meatball sub—congrats, you’re officially a local. Bonus points if you save your spot with a lawn chair.

HISTORY LESSON OF THE WEEK

(Not that you care, but…) Boston is commemorating 250 years since the American Revolution with a series of events, exhibits, and community programs that will continue through 2026. It explores Boston’s pivotal role in sparking the Revolution, from protests and tea dumping to the powerful ideas of liberty and resistance. Visitors can expect walking tours, reenactments, and cultural experiences across historic sites, connecting past struggles with today’s conversations about freedom and democracy.

Let us know what else we can do for you, Boston. We are trying to build an empire, but we need your feedback to achieve this goal. Though there is not much of anything unique to do this week, celebrate your pride, and know that Boston is the best city in America.
