YOUR TIP FOR THE HOLIDAY

Remember, safety first. First, set down the fireworks. Next, light them. Then, wait. If you are struck by fire or you turn to dust, then chances are you didn’t follow the instructions correctly. Rinse, repeat, and try again with more distance this time…

EDITOR’S NOTES

As someone born on July 4th, I find it meaningful to say that this is not a day to miss. As a nation, we are not in the best of shape, and that is why I feel that this particular 4th of July is so important, as it represents all we’ve worked so hard to preserve over the centuries. Please drink responsibly, drive safely, and enjoy the night!

SIGNING OUT!

No matter how you choose to celebrate—soaking in the history, singing along with the Boston Pops, or enjoying the fireworks, remember that you’re part of what makes this city electric. Just remember: hydrate, sunscreen, and maybe don’t trust your cousin Larry with the Roman candles. From all of us here, stay safe, have fun, and may your fireworks be bright and your hot dogs fully cooked. Happy Fourth, Boston!
